We are certainly living in new and extraordinary times. Community is more important than ever and we are here to support you.
In response to the coronavirus outbreak, our wonderful staff and volunteers are working diligently on new and creative ways to keep us connected including scheduling virtual coffees and Conversation Circles, updating our website with resources and tools, and working with Barrington 220, local professionals and our entire network to be a source of help and hope.
We know that during this unusual time, we are all doing the best we can. But, sometimes we could use some help. We hope that you will join BStrong Together and the Barrington Area Library for tips, tools, and the chance to ask questions of local experts during our new weekly virtual parenting series, "Best We Can" Parenting, on Thursdays from 1:00-1:30 pm. We know you’re busy; so we'll keep it short. And don't worry - videos of the sessions will be available online following the event for later viewing. You can learn more about the program and registration for the sessions here.
We will be updating this page with more information and resources as the days pass, so be sure to check back often for new information. If you are looking for mental health support, please visit Healthy Barrington to easily and quickly identify local providers who offer counseling, support, and mental health services.
Be sure to look for our new Tuesday Tips, Tools & Try This email every Tuesday (click here if you are not already on our email list or to see past emails) and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for helpful information, ideas and resources, as well as upcoming BStrong Together virtual events, to stay connected throughout this challenging time.
If you are in need, let us know. If you are able to help us facilitate connections with organizations equipped to provide resources, we would love to hear from you. Simply click here to let us know what help you are looking for and/or how you can help others.
We are here and will be here in the future to support you and your family because there is one thing we know for sure - alone we are strong, but we are stronger together.
