We are certainly living in new and extraordinary times. Community is more important than ever and we are here to support you.
In response to the coronavirus outbreak, our wonderful staff and volunteers have been working diligently on creating new and creative ways to keep us connected, updating our website with resources and tools, and working with Barrington 220, local professionals and our entire network to be a source of help and hope.
We began by creating our new weekly Tuesday Tips, Tools & Try This email filled with helpful information, resources, and ideas to support parents, educators, and other community members involved in the lives of Barrington area children and youth (click here if you are not already on our email list or to see past emails).
We know that during this unusual time, we are all doing the best we can, so we partnered with the Barrington Area Library to produce the virtual parenting series, "Best We Can" Parenting (videos and resources can be found here).
We continue our work as a community coalition, partnering with other local organizations to develop programming and promote resources to support children, youth and families throughout the Barrington area.
We will update this page with more information and resources as the days pass, so be sure to check back often for new information. If you are looking for mental health support, please visit Healthy Barrington to easily and quickly identify local providers who offer counseling, support, and mental health services.
If you are in need, let us know. If you are able to help us facilitate connections with organizations equipped to provide resources, we would love to hear from you. Simply click here to let us know what help you are looking for and/or how you can help others.
We are here and will be here in the future to support you and your family because there is one thing we know for sure - alone we are strong, but we are stronger together.
