The Upstanders

In November of 2020, BStrong Together hosted a week-long on-demand community showing of the IndieFilx documentary, The Upstanders.

The Upstanders film explores cyber-bullying, bullying among friends, families, co-workers, and others, and the brain science behind it all.  The film highlights new laws and programs already reducing bullying in schools and shows us how we can learn to make a difference together to create systemic change.

View The Upstanders Tips and Fact Sheet in English or in Spanish.  Find additional information and resources regarding bullying and interpersonal violence intervention here.

Following the film screening, BStrong Together was honored to host two expert panel discussions - one in English and one in Spanish - to discuss the film, local anti-bullying efforts, tips for raising an upstander, and resources for students and parents in the community.
