One Trusted Adult

“What is best for a child is a team of trusted adults seeking to embrace the opportunity for connection. It means showing up using the ABCs: Accessible, Boundaried, and Caring in all places and spaces.”
– Brooklyn Raney

Research shows that just one trusted adult can have a profound effect on a child’s life, influencing that young person toward positive growth, greater engagement in school and community activities, better overall health, and prevention of risky and threatening behaviors.

BStrong Together was honored to welcome Brooklyn Raney – author, speaker, and founder of One Trusted Adult, an organization created to train adults to build strong connections and healthy boundaries with young people – for this free virtual workshop to talk about how to create healthy, trusting relationships in our effort to make sure that EVERY CHILD in our community has a trained, committed, and motivated trusted adult in their life.
